This handmade flower is made from sheet music I found at a fair. The lady said it belonged to her grandfather but had no idea about the songs.

The songs were written by Harry Dacre an English songwriter born in 1860. He was famous for 'Daisy Bell' aka 'A Bicycle Made For Two' a song I remember singing with my nan when I was little. I have just discovered that the other song he was known for in the early 20's was 'I'll be your sweetheart'. I didn't know this until after I had made the piece, spooky?

The measurements are as follows:

Flower - 3.5"/9cm in diameter
Flower & Feathers - 4.5"/11.5cm in diameter
Depth - 1.5"/4cm

STRB01

This Skull Top Hat measures 3.5" high and 14" around the brim. It is a sturdy little hat that neatly perches on your head. Goose feathers, marabou and merry widow veiling have been added to this design however, you are more than welcome to change the feather colours or remove the veiling if you desire.

This hat can be fitted with either a black or ivory detachable elastic that sits around the back of the head and hides neatly under your hair. If you require another colour or would prefer a 5mm silver tiara headband please submit your request along with your order. Each fixture is securely fastened to the hat making it suitable for any occasion.

All Soobird items are bespoke and can take 3-4 days to be dispatched- this depends, of course, on materials in stock and the nature of the order.
